Why Choose the Alpha Foxtrot Romulus Full Size?
The Alpha Foxtrot AF1911 Romulus packs 2011-style double-stack capacity, an optics-ready serrated slide and a durable DLC finish into one of the best values on the market. This model adds its own touches: optic ready, black dlc ss frame 20 rd.
With a 5″ barrel, this pistol has a long sight radius and extra weight up front, which makes it an excellent choice for USPSA and steel competition, long range sessions and home defense where concealment is not a concern.
Because the slide is optics-ready, you can mount a red dot and gain a faster, more precise sight picture. Check the slide footprint before choosing an optic.

Pairing Your Pistol With the Right Gear
To get the most from a new 2011 pistol, plan your setup before it arrives. Choose a holster molded for your exact model and barrel length, pick a red dot that matches the slide footprint if you plan to run an optic, and stock up on quality 9mm practice and defensive ammunition. Extra double-stack magazines make range sessions and competition stages far smoother, and a weapon light on the accessory rail is a smart addition for home defense.
