This shipping and returns policy explains how Ammunication Co ships firearms and handles returns. Because we sell handguns, shipping is governed by federal, state and local law. Please read this page before you order.
Firearm Shipping
- All firearms ship only to a licensed FFL dealer that you choose at checkout. See our FFL transfer guide.
- We verify your dealer’s license before shipping.
- Firearms ship fully insured with tracking, and an adult signature is required at the dealer.
- We ship only within the United States, and only where the firearm is legal to transfer.
Processing Time
Orders are processed after payment clears and your FFL dealer is confirmed. You will receive tracking information by email as soon as your order ships.
Returns
If you need to return a firearm, contact us before sending anything back so we can provide instructions. Firearms must be returned through a licensed FFL dealer, unfired and in their original condition and packaging with all accessories and paperwork. Return shipping and any FFL fees are the buyer’s responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
Inspect your firearm at the FFL dealer when you pick it up. If it arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, contact us right away at info@ammunitiondepot.co with your order number and photos.
Shipping and Returns FAQ
How is my firearm packaged?
Firearms ship in their original manufacturer case inside a secure outer box, with discreet packaging and tracking from the moment they leave us.
Can I ship to my home address?
No. Handguns must ship to a licensed FFL dealer. Accessories without firearm components may follow different rules, and we will note this on the product page.
What if my dealer refuses the shipment?
If your dealer cannot accept the firearm, contact us right away. We will work with you to choose another dealer or arrange a return.
Can I return a firearm I have fired?
Fired firearms generally cannot be returned except for warranty issues, which are handled by the manufacturer. Contact us and we will help you find the right solution.
How long do refunds take?
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned firearm arrives and is inspected. Your bank may take a few additional business days to post the credit.
This shipping and returns policy may be updated from time to time. The version on this page applies to orders placed today.
Warranty
New firearms are covered by their manufacturer’s warranty. For warranty service, contact the manufacturer directly, or ask us and we will point you in the right direction. Learn more about federal firearm rules at the ATF website.
Cancellations
You can cancel an order any time before it ships by contacting us. Once a firearm has shipped to your FFL dealer, the return process above applies.
Shipping and Returns for Accessories
Non-firearm items such as magazines, holsters and optics may ship directly to you where legal. Magazine capacity laws vary by state, so we only ship magazines to addresses where they are allowed. Unused accessories in their original packaging can usually be returned. Contact us first so we can confirm eligibility and provide instructions.
Lost or Delayed Packages
If tracking shows no movement for several days or your dealer has not received a delivered package, contact us right away. We will open a claim with the carrier and keep you updated until the issue is resolved. Every firearm shipment is tracked from our door to your dealer’s counter, and our team will work with you and the carrier to make things right.
