Why Choose the Alpha Foxtrot Romulus Carry Comp?
Alpha Foxtrot built the AF1911 Romulus for shooters who want the performance of a high-end 2011 without the custom-shop price. The steel slide and frame, extended beavertail and double-stack magazine deliver a soft-shooting, high-capacity pistol. This model adds its own touches: 3.5″ threaded comp barrel, black, optic ready-serrated slide.
The short 3.5″ barrel makes this pistol one of the most compact 2011-style pistols available. It is easier to carry and conceal while still giving you a full double-stack grip and a fast single-action trigger.
The compensated barrel vents gas upward to keep the muzzle flat. Combined with the weight of a steel 2011 handgun, it lets you track your sights through recoil and put fast, accurate follow-up shots on target.
Because the slide is optics-ready, you can mount a red dot and gain a faster, more precise sight picture. Check the slide footprint before choosing an optic.
Who the Alpha Foxtrot Romulus Carry Comp Is For
This 2011 handgun suits shooters who want the feel of a 1911 with modern capacity: competitors moving up to a 2011 handgun, owners looking for a soft-shooting home defense pistol and collectors who appreciate fine Alpha Foxtrot craftsmanship. Pairing Your Pistol With the Right Gear
To get the most from a new 2011 pistol, plan your setup before it arrives. Choose a holster molded for your exact model and barrel length, pick a red dot that matches the slide footprint if you plan to run an optic, and stock up on quality 9mm practice and defensive ammunition. Extra double-stack magazines make range sessions and competition stages far smoother, and a weapon light on the accessory rail is a smart addition for home defense.
